About Moraine Trails Council

The Moraine Trails Council – Boy Scouts of America – supports Scouting programs in Western Pennsylvania in Armstrong, Butler, Lawrence and northern Westmoreland Counties.  Our mission is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law

Join Moraine Trails Council as we take over the South Shore of Moraine State Park for a weekend in celebration of Scouting! Whether your a brand new Cub Scout or an old, crusty Scoutmaster, there will be something for you to enjoy. Highlights for the weekend include a skydiving demonstration, Jamboree on the Air, and a camp-wide service project. We hope to see you at the Camp Extravaganza!

This year’s Fall membership campaign is likely the most important time for local Scouting. It is time to get out into the community and recruit new youth into this great organization. You can do this with flyers, peer-to-peer cards, sign up nights and other social events.
