Membership Assistance Endowment
The Dr. Henry D. Sinopoli endowment was founded by Dr. Sinopoli’s wife Jocelyn to help assist youth with BSA membership fees. This is a one-time gift for new scouts only. For the long-term, scouts are expected to participate in unit fundraising to support their program. While our funds are limited, we hope to grow the fund over time to increase assistance. For now, assistance is limited to the $25 BSA joining fee unless the family has multiple youth joining. To qualify, a parent must fill out the application and submit financial information. Applicants are limited to household incomes of $30,800 or less. Applicants will be notified by email if they are approved within 7-10 business days.
